We decided to put these to full use and gave Scott a slideshow facility on each page of the website. Other features on the website include links to the Zuma Jay Bude Surf Webcam, and a special deal for surfers wanting a more refined surfing experience in Bude. This year we wanted to give the website a little bit of a twist... We&#039;ve created a 3D Flash-driven website to give the site visitor the ultimate user experience. The site aims to resemble an &quot;underground bunker&quot;, beneath the Leopallooza festival ground, where all of the organisation takes place. There&#039;s so much more that we&#039;d like to have done to the site, but unfortunately time and project commitments weren&#039;t on our side. Things to look out for include the 2011 Leopallooza website (coming Easter 2011), and new images for the Gecko Headgear helmet photo gallery, featuring custom helmet designs. Being one of the only companies in the South West providing an air leakage testing service, Energy Performance Services offer their service on a national basis. The brand for the company needed to reflect the scale of the company&rsquo;s operation and so a lot of time was spent researching into a logo that not only reflected this, but also the fact that Energy Performance Services provide a &ldquo;clean&rdquo; and reliable service. The vibrant orange and dark blue complimented each other and allowed for the logo to stand out from other existing energy performance brands. This allows Luke to control almost every photograph on the LSO website. The client provides home study courses, each of which are available in a range of formats from word and pdf to web-based html formats. Most of the courses are originally produced as word documents and then converted into html web pages for use on the Internet. This process was causing two problems for our client: 1. A lot of time was being spent performing the conversions 2. Different people were producing the web pages and introducing significant differences in the style of the finished pages The client wanted to speed up the process and standardise the style of the html versions of the courses being produced. Monkeydevil were employed to create a conversion tool that could overcome these problems. The approach used for the conversion tool is quite simple. The software uses a number of routines that identify fixed patterns (such as bulleted lists) within a word-generated html version of itself. Once a &lsquo;pattern&rsquo; has been identified the content can be removed from the word-generated html and placed into an appropriately styled html structure for use on the client&rsquo;s website. We went for a quite literal design for this project, creating an ear shape from a collage of boiled sweets. Through the use of some quite vibrant colours and subtle 3D effects, we&#039;re hoping that this year&#039;s poster will stand out from the crowd! The original intention for the poster was to create it entirely in 3D, but long rendering times soon put paid to that idea - we managed to salvage an early render for the scene (with goat), and used that for the background of the poster. Everything else was created using Photoshop, with late lineup updates being an inevitability with a festival, the move away from a 3D-only graphic proved to be a wise decision. Viento now sends weekly email payment reminders until the balance of the account has been settled &ndash; another thing you don&rsquo;t need to worry about! The system is fully configurable, allowing the email message to be personalised and the reminder date to be defined by you.
