The past few years have seen what many people coin as the “Social Revolution”, with the advent of networking sites such as MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and countless others. Love them or hate them, they’re here to stay and they’re only going to get bigger. Businesses large and small have jumped onto the social networking band-wagon and now we’re in a situation whereby if you don’t regularly feed the big social networking monster then it’ll swallow you up.
Not only do you need to maintain your own website, manage the stock on your eBay shop and handle the day to day running of your business, you now need to publicise your business on your company Facebook page, tweet your special offers every day and YouTube a video of yourself doing all this…
We’re still in an age where a large proportion of the population still don’t use the Internet regularly and have only just grasped the basics of navigating between websites, so don’t feel like you’re alone if you’re daunted by any of this.
